Big Hearts for the Arts was founded in 2022, to help advocate for the importance of arts education in school systems. Big Hearts for the Arts also helps provide financial aid to students seeking access to the arts that may not have the resources to get involved.

Miriam Smith is a 16 year old student, advocate, and world changer. She started Big Hearts for the Arts as an outlet for kids who are striving to participate in the arts yet lack the necessary funds to do so. Her goal and purpose is to provide students with the same opportunities she has had and to give them the gift of knowing how the arts can change your life.
